Yes, Jamesy.
Queue is spelled the same way in the USA. However, it is not used to describe a line in which people stand.

That's why I'm a member of the Defence Force whereas you are all members of the Defense Force.Jess4298 wrote:Eh...I catch myself doing that accidentally a lot I suppose I read too many old booksJamesyboy wrote:You can't pick up on my spellings though because I spell things the proper English way!!Marbella wrote:Jamesy, actually it wasn't a debate. But, curiously, Cloud, when first suggesting the Defence force on the comments actually used Defence rather than Defense.
Therefore the LG15 Defence Force is intrinsically English....
QED.

What bothers me is something a little different!
Cloud (or whoever set up the LGpedia page,) titled the page, "Defense force."
It is incorrect not to capitalize both words, yet that is the only way to link to it.
Oh and Jess, you must really love London.
All I've seen of London was the trip to the airport there from Scotland.

See Jess, you'll fit very well into English life. Also, we tend not to use British much nowadays, since each nation hates each otherJess4298 wrote:One of my teachers always told us to "Queue up!" and it always stuck with meJamesyboy wrote:Centre
