Do you get paid a lot more for working permanent nights?
ahh not really early..... I get about a dollar more.. so no financially its not a big deal... but I dont have a manager or any kind of boss really its just me and a Practioner... so I kinda get to do what I want (hence sitting on LG all night) and I dont have a very big patient load so I have a lot of down time....basically I get paid to surf the LG15 all night its great

I can certainly see the attractions!!

I just remember that when I used to work nights they absolutely killed me!! The problem was that the nights were just part of a shift pattern, so every 7-week period, we'd do 7 earlies, 7 mids, 7 lates and 7 nights, all mixed up and spread out over the rota.

Could never really cope with changing from nights and getting the sleeping pattern back to normal again ready for the early shift a few days later!

Fortunately we just do earlies mids, and lates now, so the earliest we start is 7am and the latest finish is 1am, so not too bad....

Yeah it's just a matter of adapting I guess! I stay up until at least 3am most nights anyway, so I'm a bit of a night owl!
