Sarah, I'm assuming, is your biological mom?
She sure is!

ugh, not fun!
hehe, I am SOO not working today.. the site I need to use is still slower than anything... so I've been out in the back yard, playing with the dogs, since the phones are quiet as well!
thats cool, the sun went away and i feel its going to rain soon.
its ok though, cause i love being in the rain.
hehe, just make sure your shoes are tied tight, you don't want to lose your sneakers in your driveway! (that mental image STILL makes me laugh, lol!)
What?!!!??

you should see my backyard right now, it's a serious mess! Jack never walked and patrolled as much as Remy does.. she's got muddy paths zigzagging all over the property, with the area at the bottom of the steps completely empty of grass. It amazes me that she takes so many routes on a regular basis to wear out the grass completely.

jc_gypsy7 wrote:I'm wondering if I should wait until it gets a bit warmer. It's warm right now, but it cools off at nighttime.. and the problem is that the dogs regularly walk these particular paths, which is what wore out the orignal grass in the first place. I saw something called an erosion mat to put on top... that looks like something I'd need to make sure it doesn't happen again!
Yeah I'd wait a bit if I were you...I'm a lot further south and I've still got to wait to plant my annuals because we can still have around freezing temps at night till April

Ah, ok... so you're saying to wait til, like the beginning of May? That'll work.. I've got to figure out how many of these mats to get as well. I'm going to be spending a fortune, I think.. but it'll be worth it to have a clean kitchen floor without muddy pawprints daily! (not to mention much less shampooing of carpeting, lol!)
